Disneyland!!

We went to Disneyland today.  It was brilliant.  We loved it.  There's something for everyone.  Especially kids.  We were there for 11 hours.  We lost count of how many rides we had.  In Disneyland, there's Tomorrow Land, Adventure Land, Fantasy Land, Mickey's Toon Town, and Frontier Land.  There are also New Orleans Square and Critter Country.  We toured Tomorrow Land and Fantasy Land in the morning.

In Tomorrow Land, our first ride was the Astro Blaster, where we helped Buzz Lightyear kill many enemies from other galaxies.  We went on the monorail, and drove a car in the Autopia ride.  In Fantasy Land, we went on the Circus Train, the Matterhorn Bobsleds, and the Story Book Land canal boat ride.  In the afternoon, we took Peter Pan's flight - a magical night-time flight over the chimney tops of London in search of Never Never Land.  My favourite ride was the 'Happiest Cruise in the World', which sailed past the children of the world as they sang happily to the tune of 'It's A Small World After All'.  It was my favourite because it was the closest thing to a true Disney experience.  And any child anywhere would love it.

In Frontier Land, we sailed 'the rivers of America' on the SS Mark Twain, an old paddle steamer, which Jean remembers riding on as a child.  I summoned some courage and went on the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, a tame roller coaster compared to yesterday's Ghost Rider.  At New Orleans Square, we visited the Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted House.

We didn't get to Adventure Land.  That's for another day, maybe tomorrow.
